Should I play banjo or piano?

Iv been playing violin for a few months now and I hate it. My teacher is great its just that I don't like the violin. So I told my parents and they said I could quit but I have to play something else, so I was thinking banjo or piano, when I was little I wanted the piano but I didnt get it for some reason...I'm 14 now and I got the violin as a gift, but I really don't like it.(this is going to sound really stupid but I'm serious) I'm kinda afraid to get banjo lessons because I live in Kentucky, and I'm afraid my teacher will be kinda.....Creepy or something?.. I don't know, I hear the piano and think I would love to be able to play it. Then I hear the banjo and think it would be so cool to be able to play it(I'm kinda thinking now that a string instrument might be a little better for some reason idk lol) and which one is supposed to be harder? I heard violin was one of the most difficult to master, and that the piano is supposed to a little more for a beginner? So how hard would the banjo be compared to the violin and piano? And do you think my teacher would be creepy lol? And I don't really listen to bluegrass or country. Here are some of the songs I like 'I won't see you tonight pt1 A7X" "Areodynamic Daft Punk" "Chapter four A7X" "Greatist Show Unearthed Creature Feature" "Thick and Thin A7X"(I like A7x) that is sorta the idea.. So please tell me what you think and what your think I should take.. Or even tell me what instrument you think fits me best(just not guitar or drums please)
