Hollywood was and still is the 'advert' of the USA to the rest of the world - agreed ?

Even as a Canadian, my views are skewed by the small amout of Hollywood that I check out. Americans come off as vain, arrogant, ignorant, and thankless. And that's exactly how the Roman Empire was right before its fall. When I think of Americans, I think of an entire society that's jumping en-masse into the fire. Mostly sheeple who need the Hollywood entertainment machine to keep them pre-occupied while the illuminati work their evil.
