Does this show that he likes me or am i just a friend VV?

ok so iv liked him for a long time and this year we finally became friends like not best friends but pretty good so i had a party yesturday and he came up to me and asked for a hug and when we gave one to eachother he held on to me really tight and whenever he would hug someone else he would be looking at me or at least in my direction also one of my friends was on the ground and he needed to be helped up and he asked for help and me and the guy both went in for his hand at the same time and he didnt let go the whole time and like our hands were together and also durring school when we would be by eachother he would be kinda flirty and he would always stare at me so can someone please tell me wat this means i would really appricate it.
